These wines uncover the essence of the Maule Valley. Each variety is located in a terroir which is specially selected to enhance its flavors and aromas without complexity. They are wines with great personality, inviting you to discover their secrets every time you uncork them.
The grapes were carefully selected and harvested by hand. Cold maceration took place for two days at 5șC and was followed by alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks at 27șC. Then malolactic fermentation took place and the wine spent a total of ten months ageing in barrels.
Cellaring Recommendations: Four to five years
This wine is an intense ruby red. The bouquet reveals complex aromas of fresh red fruit and plums and floral notes. In the mouth, it is juicy and fresh with ripe tannins. This concentrated wine with its long, fruity finish bears testimony to the age of these dry-farmed vines.
This wine pairs beautifully with any kind of meat, especially well-seasoned grilled red meat. It is also excellent with strong and creamy cheese. Best served at between 16șC and 18șC.
