This lovely chardonnay is made entirely from organically certified grapes, certified by CCOF. It was aged for 10.5 months in 100% French oak. The oak barrels are 70% new oak. It was barrel fermented, stirred on the lees, and completed malolactic fermentation which gives this wine a nice smooth finish.
This is a fragrant, medium-bodied wine of wonderful balance. Aromas include lemon, golden delicious apple, peaches, dried coconut and toasted, flaked almonds. The palate combines nuanced fruit flavours with a hint of oak.
